I ventured into starting this blog back in August 2018. My thought was it would be a place to share what I was learning on transitioning from a full-time corporate mom life to a stay-at-home mom after my fourth child. Trust me, I have plenty of material, and I certainly will share my experiences, you know, when I find some free time.
My mother, Deb, became ill in late January 2019 with what we know now was an Infiltrating Astrocytoma, grade IV. That translates to a brain tumor in all parts of her brain. After her diagnosis in March 2019, I decided get to writing about her, and our time together. Sadly she passed April 20, 2019.
And while her situation was sad, and horrible, now that she’s passed I want to share the sunshine in the moments we had.
I’ll dive into my kids, my quest to limit my life of annoyances as well as the trivial and not-so-trivial nuances from time to time. For now, mostly I’ll be focusing on mom, AKA nana Deb.
What I can promise, is authenticity. Anyone who knows me, understands that is the only way I know how to be. Besides, it’s so much more refreshing than perfection, right?
xoxo
